Joseph Schmalke’s The Infernal Pact – Sex, Drugs and Damnation.

by on 04/09/2014

The Infernal Pact is a sex, drugs and black comedy-infused indie grindhouse horror comic mini series created, written and illustrated by Joseph Schmalke.

Three meth addled friends make some really bad choices whilst trying to score their next high and sell their souls to a dealer with a twisted sense of humour. The friends soon start losing time, waking up in strange places and witnessing horrifying events. At first they shrug things off; waking up in a strange place is not exactly new for any of them. Then they realise to their horror that maybe they have given away their souls and are determined to reclaim what has been taken from them. Such things are easier said than done though as the friends find themselves up against a satanic biker gang, hordes of the living dead and a nefarious demon with his own agenda.

One of the best things about crowd funding is it gives talented indie comics creators a chance to reach a whole new audience and Joseph Schmalke is one of those guys. The writer and artist previously crowdfunded the graphic novel The Calamitous Black Devils about a multi-national special ops squad tasked to stop an occult plan by The Third Reich to utilise a dimensional gateway to win World War II .
