J.J. Abrams presents his plea for your support in the Star Wars: Force for Change campaign, a UNICEF charitable initiative dedicated to finding creative solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems. He does all this whilst the camera pans out to reveal him standing next to a full size X-Wing, I know, right…eek. This is the first official look at the rebel spacecraft and it comes complete with pilot (orange flight suit included) and a little comedy element in the form of a mouse droid.

Once you get over the excitement and listen, it turns out Abrams is also offering quite a nifty prize. The chance for you and a friend to visit the set of Episode VII and be in it, and if that wasn’t enough they are also offering the chance of winning a private screening of the film, in your home town with 20 of your friends. Star Wars: Episode VII is directed by J.J. Abrams and alongside Harrison Ford stars Lupita Nyong’o’, Gwendoline Christie, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow along with the original stars of the Saga  – Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker. The first in the new trilogy is set for worldwide release in 18th December 2015.
