Diana is ready to fight for innocent lives in the brand new trailer for Wonder Woman‘s first solo outing. Brought to you by Warner Bros. and starring Gal Gadot, this highly anticipated release has been a long time coming for fans. I’m pleased to say it looks like it will have been worth the wait.
Set during World War I, the movie tells the origin story of how WW came to man’s world after rescuing Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). Thrown into the conflict, Diana tools up to fight along-side man defending the world and in doing so becomes the iconic superhero she was destined to be. The trailer includes a little more of the villains that will be involved, including the as yet unnamed masked woman (Elena Anaya). We also get to see more stunning shots of the exotic Themyscira and the Amazons. Our leading lady is deflecting bullets, marching into battle and generally kicking ass, this is the action hero we know and love.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman is due for release on the 2nd of June 2017.
