Some of you, if you check the Site and or FB regularly will know, over the last few months, we have been running a Zombie Apocalypse, Survival Team challenge, where in the writers of Geek Pride have been coming up with fantasy survival teams to ride out the ZA.

Now what does this have to do with sweet, sweet, swag you say? I don’t come on this site to actually read.. it’s all about the giveaways! Ok, Ok, I’ll get to the point!
As we have all had such a good time writing and creating our teams, it was decided that we should invite all of you to submit stories/ teams, and the best ones will win a prize!
What sort of prize you cry? Well see below:
PRIZES
Along with having your story, comic, vid, profile (what ever) featured on our Website, Youtube, FB and Twitter pages you will also win one of two main prizes. ( at the minute, BUT as time goes on, they may be added to, depending on if anyone wants to send me any free stuff and or I can afford the odd cool thing when im on my geeky travels)
WINNER GETS

Entry Rules
- Have to be a Geek Pride Member ie. Liked us on FB and Registered to the site.
- All submissions to be in by the 12/02/2013 (thats 12th of Feb)
Story / Profile Rules – these are not rigid But please keep as close to them as possible,
- Team of 4 fictional characters plus you.
- One superhero type allowed but if you choose Superman or someone similar you’re cheating! (Be realistic)
- You must designate a leader.
- All other characters must be assigned a role of your choice e.g. tank, chef, herbalist
- No characters from the zombie apocalypse genre.
- Bonus points for including for including a dilemma e.g. character sacrifice
- You may present your team in the format of your choice. (Story, Video, profile, comic – bonus points for creativity)
- You may choose a base of operations within a reasonable distance of your home

How will the Winner be picked?
The Geek Pride writers, and some friends of ours will judge all the entrants based on how it was presented, imagination, if you stuck to the rules ( or close enough to the rules) and how awesome your ZA team is. All submissions will be added to the site for you to show off to your friends, but the winner and runner up will have theirs featured.

1 Entry Requirements

2 Judgements

2.2) In the event of disqualification, Geek Pride reserves the right to select another entrant to take part in the Competition.
3 Prizes
3.1) All Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
3.2) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Geek Pride reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.
4 Publicity
4.1) You acknowledge and agree that Geek Pride may publish winners’ names on any media and make these available upon request to third parties. (Winners’ names are available on request by sending an SAE to the address published on this website up to one month after the closing date.)
4.2) Any personal data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and Geek Pride’s privacy policy.
5 Disclaimers
5.1) Geek Pride shall be entitled, in its reasonable discretion, to cancel a Competition with immediate effect without any liability.
5.2) The Competition may be declared void should a printing or production error in connection with the Competition appear in a publication or on this website.
5.3) Geek Pride does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by you in entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any Prize.
5.4) You acknowledge that the internet is not a secure medium and information submitted to competitions hosted on the Geek Pride website may be accessed by third parties. Geek Pride accepts no liability for loss resulting from an online entry to a Competition.
