Exciting news for fans of the One Piece franchise, Bandai Namco have released the action RPG One Piece Unlimited World Red for Europe and the Australasian area. The game will be available on 4 different formats: Playstation 3, PSVita, WiiU and the 3DS, so unless you’re an Xbox only kinda guy/gal, you’ll have your own opportunity to mix it up with characters such as Usopp, Nami and of course, Luffy himself.
Featuring tons of brand new content, OPUWL will have an exclusive story arc, add new characters to the One Piece universe (Red and Pato) and include a Battle Coliseum mode inspired by the Dressrosa arc from the manga. This new mode opens a plethora of battle types to satisfy even the most hardcore of gamer, including Duel, Boss Rush and of course, BATTLE ROYALE.
For the mega-fans out there, two special editions will be available for those who want all the goodies. The Straw Hat Edition offers 10 outfits useable in the game and a unique quest where the 2 brothers Luffy and Ace are re-united: “Flame Fist & Straw Hat”.
The second, Chopper Edition, contains all the items available in Straw Hat, but also has a Key holder, stickers, wall scroll, Chopper lanyard, an artbook and an extra DLC pack called the Takoyaki, with an extra 3 costumes and another unique quest. Sadly, this will only be available for PS3 users and only from GAME, but here’s the link for the lucky ones.
