Whilst Shadowrun fans are waiting eagerly for the release of Shadowrun Returns – the new take on old-school RPG gaming for PC owners from Harebrained Schemes – there’s good news for fans of the tabletop RPG too, with the announcement of Shadowrun: Fifth Edition from Catalyst Game Labs.
Interestingly Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Fifth Edition are set in different times in the same universe, with the former taking place in 2054 and the latter being set in the 2070’s, allowing gamers to experience different shades of the Shadowrun world.
The Fifth Edition of the tabletop game will be on shelves August 2013 with a limited edition being available (specific details yet to be released).
