Home-grown Heroes of Irish Comics (Part 1)
Back in 2007 I attended my first Comic Book Convention in Ireland. It was a rather underwhelming experience truth be told. I spent the greater part of the day trying the find the venue on the rain and windswept shores of Dublin Bay. After what seemed like an eternity I walked in to the modest […]
E3 2016: Our Favourite Moments
E3 has come and gone for yet another year, and let’s face it, we more than once boarded the hype train! We were absolutely wowed (looking at you, Sony!), intrigued, and on occasion, a little underwhelmed by some of the gaming industry’s latest announcements. Nevertheless, as the dust settles, its time to do a little […]
Sony E3 2016
Sony are known for filling their E3 conferences with an onslaught of news and announcements on its hardware and upcoming games. 2016 continued that trend, managing to pack in a ridiculous amount of content into their hour long show. Originally airing at 2am GMT, I’m sure not many of you were able to stay up […]
Captain America: Civil War Review and Giveaway
KEEP READING TO SEE HOW TO WIN SOME HASBRO, CA:CIVIL WAR GOODIES I know that my review is a little late, my reasoning behind that is I wanted to wait until the end of the bank holiday opening weekend to see the box office numbers and overall takings. Batman V Superman DOJ stood the proverbial […]

Who The Hell Is Tom Holland?
For a little while during Marvel Studios’ search for the next Spider-Man, once they’d announced they were going for a Peter Parker rather than a Miles Morales (Who could ONLY be played by Donald Glover now anyway), it seemed as if every white male of the right age, height and weight was being herded through […]
The MARVELous World of Disney: 3 Reasons You Don’t F@ck With The Mouse
So most of you (unfortunately) probably think Disney’s great. It’s a happy, happy company, which makes happy, lovely films, and everything is wonderful. Except it isn’t. Like, it really isn’t It is the worst-kept secret that Disney (or more accurately, their lawyers) are guns to a knife fight: to gain acquisition of what they desire […]
Here’s a “Civil War ” Trailer We Wish We Could Tell You Was Real
Fan trailers are normally, quite frankly, clown shoes. Youtuber Saul Rosales (or Superman21 to his friends) has seen to put an end to this fact, with what is an unbelievably slick trailer for what could’ve been, if Fox had stopped pouting (and sending us C&Ds) and Sony decided to realise the HUGE business opportunity available to them. […]
The Hockey Saint: Graphic Novel Review
Whether it's a book or a graphic novel, if you finish it in one sitting it's due to one of two reasons. Either you have too much free time OR your enjoying it too much (Harry Potter fanatics can attest). In the case of Howard Shapiro's 'The Hockey Saint' it was definitely the latter, it's a great read about the pitfalls of getting to know your idol. Something Tom Leonard a college sophomore quickly discovers when he strikes up a friendship with 21-year-old Hockey Superstar Jeremiah Jacobson.
