With the Batman vs. Superman film still over a year away, the internet has been treated to a smaller screen equivalent, Batman & Robin vs. Spiderman. This all came about at the start of 2013, as an English competition called ‘Hardest Man’ came about, it invited competitors to battle it out to find a winner. As it’s own Youtube channel states, ‘To Date, we have uncovered some of the country’s most skilled combatants. We have also found some people who make up for what they lack in natural ability by being really nice guys and trying very hard.’
I think it could be said that the DC’s combatants ‘Batman & Robin’ were in the latter category, they certainly didn’t seem to enter the fight thinking it was anything more than a joke. Unfortunately for them their opponent didn’t think the same way, with Spider-man seeing off Robin within the first round and Batman pretty soon after. Though a surprise inclusion jumps into the fray to defend the crime-fighting duo’s honour at the end of the video.
