Every now and again you’ll hear a rumour that you just have to share; juicy spoilerific gossip from an inside source that blows your tiny fragile mind. Here at Geek Pride towers we have recently stumbled across just such a rumour for the upcoming mega-sequel, Star Wars: Episode VII.
Leaks for this movie have been coming thick and fast as fans try to wring every last molecule of information from press releases, VIP set visits and brief glimpses of men scuttling around Nottingham Forest clutching what could possibly be light-sabers. Just this month respected source Badass Digest leaked some early plot details concerning the ultimate fate of Luke Skywalker’s severed hand and the beginnings of a quest that will set a pair of young heroes in search of the long-missing Jedi Master. We also learned that the pair would meet up with an aging Han Solo and Chewbacca, piloting an as-yet undisclosed vehicle and that dark forces are conspiring to build a mysterious super-weapon which could threaten the entire galaxy. So far, so awesome.
Rumour has it that a major plot thread will revolve around a new character, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa. We are somewhat reliably informed that this character will be a force user who has succumbed to the Dark Side and has been tasked with hunting down the elusive Master Skywalker. To this end, and in a plot twist that echoes Luke’s troubled relationship with Darth Vader, the young Solo confronts and murders Skywalker’s oldest and closest friend, the boy’s own father Han Solo.
What this means for the direction the planned trilogy intends to take, one can only speculate, but I imagine Luke won’t take the brutal death of this scruffy-looking nerf herder lying down.

seriously, if this is true…WOW! makes me want to see the movies more. Come on JJ, dont let us down!
