Hey, folks! Great news for all you English fans of Naruto Shippuden out there: Japanime Games and Yoka Games have teamed up to bring the English version of the board game to the masses! Set in the second half of the Naruto franchise, the board game will give the players the opportunity to work together as the fox-tailed ninja, Sakura and I’m hoping Rock Lee as well, to try and thwart the schemes of the sinister Akatsuki.
The Naruto Shippuden Board Game is a cooperative game based around the travels of Naruto and his friends. Players play one of the main characters, fighting against the incursion of the Akatsuki to save the world from its menace! There are three levels of play and a large variety of enemies, making each game a unique experience. Featuring high quality components, solid game play, and the number one anime property, this game will be a great addition to any anime or board game collection!
Already popular in Japan and based on the hit manga and anime series, it is likely to make a big splash when it hits stores in Spring 2016. The highly detailed miniatures look gorgeous, and the artwork has been beautifully transferred to the board, cards and box. I for one am really looking forward to seeing more of this, what do you guys think?
