The app that might give you a free lunch..

We all know the feeling – we’ve been at our desks all day and the phone’s been ringing non-stop. What’s the last thing you feel like doing when you get home after a hard day at work? Cooking, that’s what. And that’s where JUST EAT comes to the rescue. Of course, you can order from their website, but us geeks love a good app.  Simply download the JUST EAT app to your phone and you can be deciding what to eat whilst you travel home. That should add a little interest to your commute!

And, by the time you get in and take your coat off, your dinner will be only minutes behind you. Not having to cook is one of those small #minifistpump moments that we all love. Even better, JUST EAT has brought us #minifistpump Mondays to brighten up the start of the week which we all dread.

 What’s it all about?

JUST EAT’s #minifistpump Mondays are all about helping us to extend our weekends a little further and banish those Monday blues. To help us, they’re giving customers the chance to win their takeaway for free every Monday in June – you could be one of them!

Imagine coming home after a long day and getting a free takeaway delivered straight to your door. What could be better?

It’s the ideal way to help us forget about the fact that there are no Bank Holidays in June and give your week the perfect start.  With over 25,000 different restaurants and takeaway shops throughout the UK, you’ll be spoilt for choice. So, if you want Chinese while your flatmates want Tex-Mex, it’s no biggie. Even better if it’s free!

The JUST EAT app

Being able to order food on the go using the app opens up a world of possibilities – such as an extra round at the pub before you head home, more time to watch TV as you can sit on the sofa while you order, or time for a longer session on the Xbox, and, of course, no cooking time or effort required.

The JUST EAT app is so easy to use. You can search for a takeaway by postcode, narrow it down to the restaurant you want, decide whether to collect your order on the way past or get it delivered. To pay, you can use cash or card, or login to use your saved card details on your JUST EAT account.

Other features that add to the app’s appeal are that you don’t have to scroll through the menus. If there’s a particular dish you fancy, Chicken Chow Mein, for example, you can just type it into the search bar and the choices will come up. Maps on the app will also help you decide whether to go for collection or delivery. If you’ll be passing the restaurant on the way home anyway, you may as well stop off and pick up your food – and score some bonus points for being environmentally-friendly – another #minifistpump!

To be sure you’re going to get really highly rated food, you can also choose to filter out results according to customer reviews, or you can narrow down your choice to a specific cuisine or restaurant name.

We all know that takeaway is a treat, but on a Monday night it will taste even better than at the weekend – especially when you might get it for free. Don’t hesitate and think perhaps you shouldn’t – head online or download the app right now and order your favourite meal to be delivered to your door!
