It’s here. Following the recent teaser to keep an eye on https://www.dawnofwar.com/, we now have the brand new announcement trailer for Dawn of War 3. Needless to say, given the very grim universe in which the Dawn of War series is set (that of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K), this trailer is brutal. It features a three way conflict between Orcs, Space Marines and Eldar, showing off everything from grunts to the titanic Eldar Wraith Lords. A lot of people die and while the trailer, with its foreboding voice over, isn’t exactly revealing much of the gameplay, it excellently conveys the atmosphere of the 40K universe. The Dawn of War series is fairly prestigious as an RTS and we can only hope that we’ll receive a gameplay trailer in the near future to show off how they’ve built upon the previous games.
