…or how some people get to fulfil their childhood dreams. That sounded quite a bit dramatic, didn’t it? But it’s true. A while back, Anthony Ingruber came to public attention with his youtube Harrison Ford impersonations and now he gets to play young (William) Harrison Ford in The Age of Adaline. According to the actor, it has been “an incredible experience working on “Age of Adaline” with a fantastic director, crew and cast, including my childhood hero, Harrison Ford.” He quite looks the part, doesn’t he?
The movie synopsis is as follows:
A young woman, born at the turn of 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After years of a solitary life, she meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality.
Sounds interesting, to me at least, and given that it benefits of a stellar cast, I think it just might be a nice surprise when it comes to 2015 films. To mention just a few of those that are part of the project, the aforementioned Harrison Ford, Ellen Burnstyn, Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones) and Blake Lively of Gossip Girl fame as Adaline. The film is directed by Lee Toland Krieger (Celeste and Jesse Forever) and is currently shooting in Vancouver
We’ll keep you posted with news about the movie, so stick around. Meanwhile, have an Ingruber impersonation of Han Solo, to tide you over until we get to see them on screen together.
