Only a few short hours ago, John Green posted an announcement to Facebook declaring that Sarah Polley will be writing and directing a movie adaptation of his controversial novel, Looking For Alaska.
As The Fault In Our Stars continues its box office success, anticipation is high for Green’s next book-to-film adaptation, Paper Towns. And although fans have long clamored for an Alaska film, many thought it would never come to pass. After all, the book continues to be banned from many schools due to its delicate subject matter. This is sure to bring much excitement from fans of Green’s work, and I personally can’t wait for casting rumors.
