Sometimes when you mash two seemingly unconnected things together you just end up with a mess. Catherine Tate and Doctor Who. Cartoon rabbits and Star Wars. A McDonalds Happy Meal and my wife’s blender.
Sometimes though, things take a turn for the awesome. Turkish artist Murat Palta has taken scenes and concepts from some of the greatest geek films and recreated them in a traditional Ottoman style. The results are fantastic, as you can see for yourself. Check out more of his work here.
