SDCC trailer for Suicide Squad released online

For those who were lucky enough to be at San Diego Comic Con, they would have been able to see the first trailer for the forthcoming Suicide Squad.  However, Warner Brothers took pity on those who were unable to make it, and have since released the trailer online.

So far, Suicide Squad looks okay.  It has a cool grungy aesthetic that matches the tone of the movie, but we have little indication of the actual plot other than “turning bad guys into heroes”, with the Batman and Joker turning up before hilarity ensues.

The main question is though, is Jared Leto’s Joker any good?  It is certainly a new cinematic take on the character, thankfully quite different to the Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger interpretations.  I will withhold judgement until I have witnessed much more in action.  However, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn nails it!

However, I still think the Suicide Squad look like the horror-punk band Murderdolls
