Actor James Gandolfini, best known for his role as Tony Soprano in the in the hit HBO series has died.

Deadline report that Gandolfini died in Italy of a sudden heart attack.
Chris Albrecht, the man responsible for giving the go-ahead to make the critically acclaimed mob series spoke with Deadline about the news: “Absolutely stunned. I got the word from Lorraine Bracco and just got off with Brad Grey who had just heard from David Chase. We had all become a family. This is a tremendous loss.”
I never got into The Sopranos myself, but I will forever remember Gandolfini from his excellent work in one of my favourite movies of all time, True Romance. More recently, the actor had worked on such projects as The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and the excellent Zero Dark Thirty.
