Rogue Trooper returns to gaming with remastered edition

Rogue Trooper, the iconic blue skinned infantry man created by Gerry Finley Day and Dave Gibbons in 1981, is one of the only 2000AD characters besides Judge Dredd to actually get his own game. Released in 2006 and simply titled Rogue Trooper the third person shooter game actually made a pretty decent go at adapting the brutal and often harrowing story of war on the poisoned Nu-Earth and was a pretty good game with it.

Rogue is the last survivor of a platoon of genetically engineered soldiers that were betrayed and ambushed by enemy forces, with the biochips of some of his fallen comrades installed in his helmet, rifle and bag Rogue lives for vengeance and becomes the stuff of nightmares for both the Norts and the Southers.

Anyone who likes the sound of that can rejoice as it’s just been announced that TickTock Games is working an updated reworked version of Rogue Trooper – Rogue Trooper- Redux for PC, Playstation 4, X-Box One and Nintendo Switch.
