Today was gamers’ day at the Anime Con; so most of the focus was on, you’ve guessed it, video games. There were various gaming tournaments, including Super Smash Bros as well as various casual gaming sessions. Persona 4 Arena was also on show and saw many battles throughout the day. On the downstairs stage a video games quiz took place, while the upstairs stage saw events, which included a cosplay blind date show, an anime dubbing contest and a masquerade cosplay competition. Everybody appeared to be having a great time and a huge effort was made by the cosplayers, some of which, wore different costumes to the ones they were wearing yesterday. Overall, I think the event was a big success. I’m looking forward to the next one already.
