GEEKS MEAN BIG PRIZES 2 – Zombie Apocalypse Special ( all entries by 12/02/2013)

Zombie-Apocalypse-movie-poster638compSome of you, if you check the Site and or FB regularly will know, over the last few months, we have been running a Zombie Apocalypse, Survival Team challenge, where in the writers of Geek Pride have been coming up with fantasy survival teams to ride out the ZA.

There are still a few of us to go, mine taking longer than usual, but you can check them out here for inspiration: https://www.geek-pride.co.uk/category/features/writers-challenge-zombie-apocalypse/

Now what does this have to do with sweet, sweet, swag you say? I don’t come on this site to actually read.. it’s all about the giveaways! Ok, Ok, I’ll get to the point!

As we have all had such a good time writing and creating our teams, it was decided that we should invite all of you to submit stories/  teams, and the best ones will win a prize!

What sort of prize you cry? Well see below:

Along with having your story, comic, vid, profile (what ever)  featured on our Website, Youtube, FB and Twitter pages you will also win one of two main prizes. ( at the minute, BUT as time goes on, they may be added to, depending on if anyone wants to send me any free stuff and or I can afford the odd cool thing when im on my geeky travels)

Take the role of a Survivor, each with unique abilities, and harness both their skills and the power of teamwork against the hordes of unthinking undead! Zombies are predictable, stupid but deadly, controlled by simple rules and a deck of cards. Unfortunately for you, there are a LOT more zombies than you have bullets…

Find weapons, kill zombies. The more zombies you kill, the more skilled you get, the more skilled you get, the more zombies appear. The only way out is Zombicide!

Play 10 scenarios on different maps made from the included modular map tiles, or create your own.

Runner Up Gets:

You’ve never seen tarot cards quite like these. Imagine the celebrated Rider Deck infused with the horrors of “Night of the Living Dead”, and the result is “The Zombie Tarot” – a crazy, campy interpretation of a classic divination system. In this zombified parallel universe, wands become limbs, pentacles are biohazard symbols, and the Major Arcana is full of shambling corpses. Along with the 78-card deck, readers will receive instructions in a 96-page full-color book; its contents explain how to survive the zombie apocalypse and forecast your future using one of three different card layouts. The secrets of “The Zombie Tarot” await you!

Whetted your appetite? Thought so…

Well this is going to be a more challenging giveaway, than the usual “share, like and win” affair. We expect entrants to use their grey matter and creative spark to come up with something special
