Microsoft are apparently readying themselves to announce the date of their Xbox event, and it looks to be coming on May 21st.
News comes by way of The Verge that Microsoft will be setting the date for their next Xbox Event for late May, though had originally intended for the event to take place in April.
We don’t know a great deal about the new Xbox, codenamed “Durango”… aside from recent speculation about the console’s “always on” requirement that caused a bit of a furore on Twitter and Reddit.
If this date is accurate, then the announcement will come 3 months after Sony‘s Playstation 4 event, and I’m hoping it’s not going to mean I have to camp out until silly-o’clock to get the details on MS’s new baby.
Oh… and please learn from Sony’s press conference, Microsoft… and show us the damn console!
