True Blood fans rejoice! It has been confirmed today that True Blood will be back for a seventh season after being renewed by HBO.
The show, which is currently airing its sixth season, will run the seventh season in the summer of 2014. Executive producer Brian Buckner will return in season seven after taking over from Alan Ball since his departure at the end of the fifth season. It is uncertain how many episodes there will be in seven season, after a shorter season six in order to accommodate Anna Paquin’s pregnancy.
