Some good news for PlayStation 3 owners today; Uncharted 3 Mulitplayer and Mass Effect 3: Reckoning multiplayer pack will be available to download for free later this afternoon.
Uncharted 3 – Sony are releasing the multiplayer and single player sections of the game separately; the excellent multiplayer mode being free-to-play. Before you get too excited though, you will only be able level your character up to lvl 15 and it seems that there will also be a restriction to which MP modes will be accessible. However, there will an option to buy an unlock for these restrictions, if you want to access all of the content which is gained by levelling up and for the co-op modes. It’s also a good opportunity to have a butchers at the game before deciding whether to buy the full version on disc or not, which could possibly be a cheaper option if you want full access to all modes.
Mass Effect 3: Reckoning – Owners of ME3 will be treated to yet another free multiplayer pack, called Reckoning; adding more characters/classes, including collectors, plus new weapons to expand the co-op multiplayer experience even more. Apparently, this is the final free MP DLC pack for the game and is also available on Xbox 360.
