A new trailer has been released for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag at Gamescon 2013. Assassin’s Creed 4 was announced in February and will be released on October 9th in the US and Canada and November 1st in Europe. It will not only be available to buy for PS3, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U; it will also be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The game centres around Edward Kenway, the pirate father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin’s Creed 3, and the video shows the Edward roaming around the game’s various locations. There is said to be 50 different locations in the game, making its environment the biggest of the franchise so far. Lead writer Darby McDevitt has stated that the main campaign will last around 20 hours and that it will be light on the present day aspect of the games, giving players more time for pirating.
